Screen Share in iMessage

I've been trying to use the screen share feature in iMessage and can't seem to get it to work. I have two computers with different Apple Id's set up to iMessage. When I click on details and attempt to screen share it's greyed out. I made sure that screen sharing was enabled in system preferences. What else am I missing?
