My computer is running soooooo slow!

I use both Safari and Chrome and in both OS everything runs slow. I can leave the room after closing out a program and to go to another room and back and maybe the program will be closed by then. I ran the etrecheck but I am not well versed in computer talk. I can however follow directions if there is anyone out there who could help. Here is the etrecheck report.
