Jan 27, 2015 1:06 PM in response to Jean dominique Lamy1by Spakuloid,★HelpfulWhat you are looking for the MEDIA MANAGER from 7 and sadly this no longer exists in X. AFAIK there is no way to take a project that is edited in a timeline - and media manage that down to just the clips used (with handles of your choosing) into a new project that is much smaller in size. Archive in X copies everything but render files over with 100% handles on every clip used in the project. So it is basically useless since you can do this yourself by dragging the library onto another drive.
If you can manually export a new copy of every single clip in your timeline over into a new project and reassemble that project by hand - there is no reason whatsoever that FCP X should not be able to do this for you -- it being a COMPUTER PROGRAM and all. Yet it can't.
