I cant view the movies on zango.com

They don't even load and when I click on the play button nothing happens.

iBook G4, Mac OS X (10.4.7)

Works for me in Safari.

Do you have the latest version of Shockwave installed (version 10.1.1.016)? If you don't install it. If you do, open the installer and uninstall, then reinstall.

Thanks for the advice. I tried that and I get an error message about making sure the path is correct. Could this have something to do with "Flip 4 Mac"?

What is the specific error message, and when does it appear? During installation or uninstall?

I spoke too soon. Went back to Zango. A few "play" items work, most don't. Tried same in Firefox, error message said "please use Internet Explorer 5 or Firefox (Windows) to access this content.

Haven't tried Zango before, so this is new ground for me. In the past, were you able to access its content on the Mac. Sorry to report it seems like another example of Mac-bias on the browser front.

I think that you are correct on the bias against Mac on this site.

I get two types of error messages when I try to open the movies on that site. The first is,

"Flip4Mac WMV is unable to play DRM protected content. Windows Media Player may be able to play this movie. Would you like to disable Flip4Mac and use Windows Media Player instead?"

and there are two choices..."Cancel or Disable".

If I chose "Disable" it opens my system prefs and I can deselect all the Flip4Mac plug in prefs and restart my Safari.

I then restart Safari and now I get the second error message ..."Cannot open the file. Verify that the path and file name are correct and try again."

Both paths are dead-ends. Return flip4mac back to its original location as it serves many useful purposes accessing .wmv content.

I suggest Contacting Zanto about limitations imposed on the Mac platform.

Thank you for taking interest in Zango.

Zango is compatible on PCs with operating systems higher then Windows 98 and Windows Me.
Currently, Zango is not supported on Mac OS/X.
