I have an older Linksys router WRT160N. However, the latest release notes for the N600 Setup Software state:

Linksys Products

Product: Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Setup

Classification: Setup Software Release History

===========================================================================

Release Date: October 28, 2014

Build version 2.0.14294

- Setup has been updated to work with both older and current firmware.

- Confirmed to work with latest Windows 8.1 and Mac 10.9 operating systems.

- Improved firmware update algorithm to handle slow Internet download speeds

The N600 user's manual provides an option to "manually" configure the router starting on page 32. My older Linksys router in fact had no other option than this "manual configuration" for Macs back when I obtained it several years ago because its Setup CD had setup software that ran only on a PC anyway.

I have reconfigured my router multiple times with the "manual" method, basically via a web browser. I don't have direct experience with the N600, but I believe it can be configured directly through the web browser also, as per its user manual.
