Safari not working?

For some reason, Safari has been acting up today. Using up most of my cpu and stalling. I've had to quit it several times. Anyone else having a problem like this?

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1), 17" MBPro running 2.66 Ghz, 8G Ram

Hello, prider57.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

I understand that you are experiencing an issue with the performance of Safari. I would start with clearing your Safari History and Website Data. Test the performance of Safari and check the CPU usage. If the issue persists, you may need to take a look at the troubleshooting steps in the second article.

Safari 8 (Yosemite): Manage cookies and website data

Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues

Thanks for the response. I have done the clearing of history and data...

Apparently, the problem lies with a particular website: www.worldmate.com. The website plays nice with Chrome but not with Safari, in that each time I try to access it in Safari I get a spike in cpu and have to exit the app. This does not happen with any other website in Safari. Just this one, for some reason.
