Jan 27, 2015 10:54 AM in response to braden85by MacUserAE,This has nothing to do with what is going on. There used to be a way to reset documents and data in iCloud but it is no longer available to the end user. I am waiting for engineering. This is a .mac fiasco all over again.

Jan 27, 2015 11:18 AM in response to MacUserAEby Winston Churchill,Turn off syncing for the type of document you are having a problem with on all devices, delete any documents that remain in the specific apps folder and start again.

Jan 27, 2015 2:46 PM in response to Winston Churchillby MacUserAE,I Have no idea what document is having an issue. I have deleted all documents from iCloud drive (pages, keynote, numbers) the issue is still ongoing And Apple engineering is simply sitting on their hands.

Jan 28, 2015 5:14 AM in response to Winston Churchillby MacUserAE,i have encountered a bizarre problem. My iPhone 6 battery started draining rapidly about a week ago. Within 3-4 hours from 100 to 30 percent. I have done extensive troubleshooting, including all the battery saving tips to no avail. I have been to the Apple Store and we determined that the hardware is all ok. After additional troubleshooting I determined that when I delete my iCloud account the problem goes away. This led me to investigate my iPad air 2 as well and sure enough same problem there (the battery is a lot larger and I did not notice it before).
When I look at the battery usage in settings both standby and usage time are identical when iCloud is signed in. When I sign out of my iCloud account the usage and standby work as they should. i subsequently tried turning off individual services with iCloud (ie mail, calendar, reminders, etc.) sequentially but the problem persists. Only signing out of the account completely resolves the issue. Apple Store has escalated it to engineering and I am waiting. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. This sounds like the .mac problems all over again.

Jan 28, 2015 5:20 AM in response to MacUserAEby Winston Churchill,Have you selectively turned separate areas of iCloud off and retested.

Jan 28, 2015 5:24 AM in response to Winston Churchillby MacUserAE,I Have and that does not fix the issue. However when I sign out from iCloud completely the problem goes away. Very strange. I thought it might be hardware, but it is happening on my iPad as well.

Jan 28, 2015 6:46 AM in response to MacUserAEby Winston Churchill,OK but in respect of your original question, if you have disabled all types of document syncing on the device, then you have eliminated documents as the cause of your problem and the old option to reset documents and data wouldn't help anyway. FWIW, resetting documents is now done on a document type by document type basis, in the way I suggested in my first post.
