Today I received a 'receipt' from the following address (I received a mail from the following address (iTunes Store do_not_reply@mdn-txn-msbadger1.apple.co.uk via fargo.websitewelcome.com ) claiming I had made an in-app purchase of some app for £27.99. I have no record or doing this and presume this is an attempt to scam me. Has anyone seen anything similar?

There are a number of similar emails doing the rounds (there have been similar posts on here for various items and from various sites). You could forward the email to Apple : reportphishing@apple.com , and then delete the email.

You can view your account's purchase history via the Store > View Account menu option on a computer's iTunes, or the last 90 days via http://reportaproblem.apple.com
