Q: Network locking up on Mac Pro

Have a new Mac Pro

For past couple of months I am having trouble with Network locking up

At first it seemed like the issue was wifi.  My mac is on most all of the time

Nearly every day I suddenly lose access to my wifi Network

I have tried several things but the only thing that seems to work is a restart

When it happens the wifi symbol in the title bar on the top of the desktop simply loses

all of the wifi networks available.  Only the turn off wifi line is visible.  But clicking it

doesn't do anything.

I have tried to relaunch the finder, etc. with no luck

When I open the network system pref. it appears that everything is locked including

bluetooth, ethernet, etc.

Now happening nearly every day

Any idea?

    Hello there Reifer,

If you are still experiencing Wi-Fi connection issues intermitently I would use the Wireless Diagnostics tool to help you determine what the cause of the issue may be:

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

    All the very best,

    Thanks for your reply

But, I am not having issues with the wifi network

    I have:

    2 ipads

    2 iphones

    1 mac book pro

    1 mac book air

    3 Nest thermostats

    1 Bose sound dock

    1 MyQ from Liftmaster

1 Shade control from Hunter Douglas

connected to the network and don't have any issues with any of them ever

Seems to me to be the MacPro??

That being said, I went ahead and used Diagnostics

It said it was ok but, I asked it to monitor and will see what if anything comes up

But, pretty sure it is the computer and not the network
