How can I disable phone calls via my car's speakers (connected via blue tooth)

Hi all,

My new car is blue tooth compatible. I am also looking into buying a hands free set (because of some limitations with my car's bluetooth tech). Anyway, I want to be able to stream music, play ipod, hear navigation instructions etc through the car speakers. But I do not want to get the phone calls routed to the car speakers! Ideally, I would like to be able to select, when a call comes in, if I want it on car speakers or if I want to take the call privately. Iphone 6. I do not want to have to disconnect bluetooth and reconnect. Any suggestions?

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1), Audi Q5 without Navigation

Thank you for replying. I am not sure I understand. Lets say I am driving alone in the car, I can speak over the car speakers. But if I am driving with my kids in the car, I dont always want them to hear the other end of the conversation or for them to hear my kids in the background: atleast very clearly, though sometimes its okay. So I want to be able to switch between talking through the car speakers: hands free or talking just through the phone: as in phone to my ear. Please clarify if thats what you explained to me above..thank you!
