You don't say which Adobe apps you're using. But if it's the CC apps, there's a choice for the UI font sizes in Photoshop's preferences. The default is Small.
Unfortunately, of the CC 2014 apps I have installed to check (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge, Muse, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Media Encoder, Encore CS6), only Photoshop has an option to control the UI font size.
I tried it, too (you have to quit and relaunch PS for the change to take effect), but even Large isn't that much bigger.
Unlike Windows, the Mac GUI has always been very limited in regards to UI control. They only way to adjust the overall size of fonts is to choose a lower resolution in the Displays panel of the System Preferences. But this isn't a great choice since most (if not all) resolutions that are not the native resolution of an LCD or LED screen then displays blurry and and rather pixelated looking.
There was talk a while back of resolution independence for OS X, but seems to have been dropped.
You may wish to check with Adobe on this. I agree their UI is awfully tiny in Photoshop and the like.
I can't even read anything on top of indesign. Anyone have an answer?
anyone out there??
Thanks that's helpful. It seem to be still not big enough. and Indesign are the same problem. I thought that is a some kind of scaleable UI somewhere.
you've been very helpful. i guess it's all depend on apple and adobe to give us a options.
I would put Apple on the side of no change. Maybe make a suggestion to Adobe to add a font size control as in Photoshop to the rest of their line.
