Jan 26, 2015 2:46 PM in response to GMIZby CellarDwellr,Hello!
Two things to keep in mind here:
- you need to connect it using a micro-USB cable.
- you need to make sure your Apple TV is not connected to power when you do this

Jan 27, 2015 1:52 AM in response to CellarDwellrby GMIZ,Hi thanks for getting back to me.
I have tried connecting it via micro usb and my Mac but i can't find it in itunes to try and reset it.
I thought it might be the micro usb so I got another one. In fact one micro usb makes the white light flash the other does nothing.
In both cases I can't find it in itunes.
Thanks.

You could also call Apple and ask if they sell micro-USB cables.
