Cisco_Webex_Add-on goes into a loop on install

Webex will open but the minute I try a one click meeting or to join or start a meeting it fails and tells me to install Install Cisco WebEx Add-On.App

I have the same problem Install Cisco WebEx Add-On.App looks like it install then disappears and never loads keeps asking to redo the same install.

I am having this issue also. iMac Retina Yosemite 10.10.2 (14C1510)

Same issue here, brand new MacBook Pro 13inch Retina 256Gb Yosemite 10.10.2 Safari 8 browser

Looks like the WebEx issue has now been solved at least in Yosemite 10.10.2 and Safari 8

I had a similar thing: install just would disappear (quit)

solution was to manually make the folder for the app to install

from command line:

mkdir ~/Library/Internet\ Plug-ins

crazy enough but that worked.

And then what? How do you install the app in the new folder? This Cisco_Webex_Add-on keeps going into a loop..... 😟 Please help . I have 10.10.4 (14E46) yosemite.

well then after i manually made the folder. i just re-ran the weber install .pkg file and it installed correctly.

Worked for me as long as I copied the package over to /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ and run the "Install Cisco WebEx Add-On" from there. My directory already existed.

I am running into this with 10.11.3. I believe I have been having this issue for a while. I used the removal tool with no success. Strange thing with the removal tool is the log tries to remove files in places where they are not installed.

rm: /Users/dad/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/WebEx*.*: No such file or directory

rm: /Users/dad/Library/Preferences/com.webex.*: No such file or directory

rm: /Users/dad/Library/Preferences/com.cisco.webex.*.plist: No such file or directory

With doing a bit of digging, I found it creates a WebEx Folder directory and does not put anything in Internet Plug-Ins. I have tried the install with FF, Safari, and Chrome and I get the same exact loop.

I do have Internet Plug-Ins Directory so that is not it I did delete the Web Ex directory manually and tried to install it again with no success. I looked around for anything WebEx to delete. Any help would be appreciated.

Does WebEx have a forum or just some ticket system. IS there anyplace else I can look for clues?

I am having exactly the same problem with OSX 10.11.4 and Safari/Chrome.

Whenever Webex prompts me to install "Cisco_WebEx_Add-On.dmg", it seems to install fine, but then nothing happens.

/Users/***/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ exists as a directory but there is nothing inside.
