Jan 26, 2015 10:18 PM in response to djg-macrisby spudnuty,Hello djg-macris and welcome to Apple Support Communities,
So the update ran normally? And the MBP restarted normally?
If so try an SMC reset:
Reset SMC

Jan 27, 2015 7:32 AM in response to djg-macrisby OGELTHORPE,It certainly does not recognize the battery, Run an Apple Hardware Test:
http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201257
You may have to use the original installation disk with the AHT instructions on it.
Note that an error free AHT is not definitive.
Ciao.

Jan 27, 2015 7:38 AM in response to OGELTHORPEby djg-macris,Hello OGELTHORPE,the side power button? The battery indicator lights doesn't work and after the update when i tried to see the "power" on System Information there was a message: An error occurred (something like that)

Jan 27, 2015 7:54 AM in response to OGELTHORPEby djg-macris,I ran AHT (cmd + D) and an error 4SNS/1/40000000 TB3T-128.000 (i think that's the right number)
After a Google search this is an error on the battery temperature sensor!!

That is correct, it is a battery sensor error. Make plans for an appointment at an Apple store genius bar. This is a hardware issue that only they can rectify.
Ciao.

Jan 27, 2015 8:42 AM in response to djg-macrisby Allan Jones,Your battery report looks very odd, especially in what is missing from it. Is this the original battery or is it a replacement battery? If a replacement, from where di you get it?
Here is what the first section of the "Power" screen looks like on my 2013 13-inch MBP with its original battery:
You report has nothing above "Charge information" section, other missing items, and a lot of zero values. I doubt a failed battery temp sensor would wipe out all those values. That is what makes me ask if is this a replacement--I'm thinking counterfeit.

Jan 27, 2015 11:17 AM in response to Allan Jonesby djg-macris,I had problem with the original battery,it had been swelled…then i removed it from MBP while i had ordered the new one.
I was running MBP without battery installed! Without battery installed i ran this: MacBook Pro SMC Firmware Update 1.5
After that i installed the new battery and when i was opening the "power" section in System Information there was a message: an error occurred (something like that)
For 15-20 days there was a battery icon in menu bar but MBP didn't charge the battery, when i was unplugging the magsafe power adapter the system was going to sleep!!
Now there is an X in the battery icon in menu and when i unplug the adapter system is shutting down hard!
Here is the battery i installed:

Thanks for your time

Jan 27, 2015 11:39 AM in response to djg-macrisby spudnuty,Have you tried resetting PRAM and SMC?
Reset SMC
http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
Reset NVRAM
http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204063
Otherwise you might try doing a hard reset of SMC. Follow the instructions for "a battery you can remove" You'll have to open up the MBP and remove the battery.
Otherwise maybe bad battery. Greek?

Jan 27, 2015 11:50 AM in response to spudnutyby djg-macris,Yes,from Greece!
I tried PRAM & SMC reset and i think that I've tried the hard reset!!
I think that this update is the problem...
Is there any way to reinstall the SMC??
