Fitbit says the scale needs.
The Aria connects to your wireless home network and works with any Wi-Fi router that uses the following standards: - 802.11b frequency setting.
- WEP / WPA / WPA2 personal security.
- Automatic (DHCP) IP setup (static IP configuration are not supported).
Your SSID should only contain alphanumeric characters (e.g. A-Z, 0-9). If you experience failures to connect to a network that uses special characters, change the name of the network to only use alphanumeric characters, and try to connect again. |

Note the name info especially.. by default your apple router has a name that looks like.
Fred Blog's Airport Wireless.
So it breaks the rules..
Set the Airport to factory and start over.. use simple names.
eg.. TCgenx (I like to use actual gen for x).
Wireless name. TCwifi
Use security set to nothing for a test. Then see if the scale can join.. if it works then use wpa2 personal security with a 8-10 password, mix case and numbers only.
If it then fails scale it back to wpa1 and 2.
If it fails with all security try setting the 2.4ghz wireless to fixed channel, 11, 8, 6 in that order.
The b wireless is also very bad.. it should be at least G.. you could still have issues with the TC if it is a gen5.
What model is your TC??
