Q: Is there a way to completely disable AirPort?

I experience Sleep Wake Failure caused by AirPort...

Yosemite still with Sleep Wake Failure

I need to get rid of this problem until Apple fixes the issue. Is there a way to completely disable/shut off AirPort and all its services.

I don't need AirPort, I don't use it at all.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

Leo, looks like the final cleanup procedure you suggested did the trick; no further Sleep Wake Failures since. I can't say for certain, but it looks like TrimEnabler might have caused the problem.

Sleep Wake Failure is back :-(

Question: are these vm_fault_ entries in the log below eventually related to VMWare?

Opened a support request ticket with VMWare as well. Let's see what they have to say.

Well spotted there! I am not needed anymore, you are doing very well on your own.

Let us know what their response is.

    Have fun
