Q: My ipad 2 stuck with apple logo and charging issue

My ipad 2 stuck with apple logo that just goes on and off. Also, it does not charge when connected to adapter, the apple logo keep flashing like a nightmare. Failed at both attempts when pressing home button to connect to iTunes for restore. Please help.

no jail break, not updates hanging issue... latest ios 8 completed and working well for months until last week...

    If you are having an issue with your iPad shutting down unexpectedly and becoming unresponsive at the Apple logo, I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article - 

     

    If your iOS device restarts, displays the Apple logo, or powers off while you're using it - Apple Support

    Hi Brett,

    Thank you for your reply. However your suggestion does not solve my problem.

     

    My ipad 2 is showing an apple icon flashing on and off in recycling. I tried to connect to iTunes and noted there is a empty battery sign asking me to get my ipad charge before i can restore using my PC. I left my ipad to charge using wall adapter for 4 attempts (left to be charge at least 2 - 3 hours aech attempt). It just doesn't get charge. The empty battery sign shown up, then black screen for a few minutes then the apple icon flashing on and off again. It just goes repeating itself.

     

    My 1st issue that need to be dealt with is how to get my iPad charge before i can even restore from itunes?

     

    Hope this give a better understanding of my issue with ipad2.
