Q: iMessage don't send and receiver are "not registered"

On my MacBook Pro i have problems with the iMessage.

I did active with my Apple-ID Account and be connected without problems. But when i like to send a Message, i get the Error that the Receiver is no registered by iMessage.

Also i don't receive Messages on this MacBook.

It works on my iPhone5, iPhone4, iPad3, iMac in the office and iMac at home. But not on this MacBook.

It did work before till begin of January 2015.

In the Console i did find:

[Warning] Needs deletion: NO (Registration info (0x7ff63a7a8dc0): [Registered: NO] [Type: AppleID] [Device Name: (null)] [Service Type: iMessage] [Env: (null)] [Main ID: ....

What i can do ???

Did try to disconnect, also in my iPhone, reboot and so on, but all in vain

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

Try a different SIM card / number. Log out from all devices. Put the new sim card in. register with iMessage. After a while, put the old card back in and register with this one. Funny enough, I had the issue in Yosemite, but that did it for me.

    Good film.

Not sure this is the place to discuss it though.

    Hi,

Have you contacted Apple Support  and explained that you are sure that you have an Account Issue (Free to fix) with the iMessages server and your Mac ?

In other threads it seems this does not always provide a instant fix but soon afterwards things start working again.

It would appear that Apple are aware there is an issue.

The trouble is they don't know who is suffering from it.

Others have reported removing every item that mention IDS in the Keychain and then Restarting also can solve the issue.

Then there is no need to bump the thread.

Apple will not be reading it.

They are. They called me after reading whole story to get logs.

And to sum up - I'm bumping this thread for other people with this problem.

    Hi,

So this is another of the threads Adam is working from.

He contacted me and didn't seem to realise I was trying to help.

A second email was needed to explain I did not have the problem.

I was not asked to supply any logs.  I had not further contact once I explained I did not have the issue.

The impression I get is that Apple are aware.

The people who do contact them do not get an instant fix but a day or two later the accounts starts working properly.  (I.e.once people have Identified themselves Apple know where to look).

Having said that I would guess there are a very small number of people that still have an issue and are not in the "it suddenly starting working" group.

A bump would seem fair enough if you are trying to scoop up other people with the same issue.

The trouble is then the threads becomes a Honeytrap thread.

I will stay subscribed to the thread in any case.

Ok, finally! It's working (look like yesterday update yosemite 10.10.3 beta 4 - build 14D105g do the job)... FaceTime & iMessage.
