Viber - "INVALID NUMBER"
I have been using Viber for years but after I upgraded my iPhone 5S to iPhone 6, I was asked to re-login to Viber but was unable to get access code since then , Viber kept coming back with 'INVALID NUMBER" inspite of all valid number inputted.
I wrote back to Viber support and was advised my number is blocked , the reason stated was
" Our system has identified your account as a source of spam messaging due to an increased activity on Viber. The account has been automatically added to a block list and "can not be unblocked."
I am surprised with Viber's reply as there was no increase activity from my end, I used Viber for social chats with my contacts occasionally, very disturb and puzzle with what's happening.
In my 2 recent visit to Apple shop at Causeway Bay and IFC, the attendants were not able to solve above issue.
Will appreciate any advices.
