cannot download previous purchase movie to new pc computer

Im not sure how to start but here goes...

) have iphone6, Ipad, and new windows 8.1 laptop (old laptop crashed), I can view/download movie from iTunes via cloud to iPhone and ipad but not iTunes on PC... I can see the movie I purchased in iTunes of the laptop but cannot download or view it I keep getting "could not be used because original file could not be fouind" message. I have authorized the laptop, family sharing is on and have re-installed iTunes on laptop 2 X...

What am I missing

Hi jlm9723,

From what you are describing, it sounds like iTunes thinks the file is downloaded on your computer and is trying to play it from that source. I would first try to locate it on your computer and reestablish a link to see if you can play it. If that does not work then try deleting the movie by selecting it and hit the delete key on your keyboard to remove it. That should bring up the cloud button on the movie and you will be able to download it again.
