no external plug-in installed

With the updated version of iTunes there wasn't a external plug-in installed. When I deleted the current version my computer automatically recognized both my iPpad and iPhone. I am currently using the most up to date windows.

I tried to fix this problem on my own with Apple's step guide to fixing it and it has not worked.

Hey prinnelly,

Thanks for the question. The default iTunes installation does not include any external or third-party plugins. Were you expecting to see a different result when running the iTunes Diagnostics?

Hey Matt M.

Thank you for answering. I'm sorry I'm not stating what I mean. With the most recent update of iTunes something makes it so my computer doesn't recognize any of my devices. I plug in my iPhone or iPad into my computer and it does not come up at all. I tried to solve the problem via directions from the Apple community who had the same problem. However, the problem has seemed to persist after many tries. If there is a solution to this problem that would be great.

Thank you in advance

Hello prinnelly,

Thanks for the follow up and clarifying your question. I understand that you are experiencing issues with your iOS devices being recognized in iTunes for Windows. Based on the Diagnostic results you included in your original post, it looks like everything is running normal and I do not see any issues. You mentioned that you were following directions to solve this issue, was it this article?:

iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch not recognized in iTunes for Windows - Apple Support

If so, can you start from the beginning and try each step in this resource and let me know if you have any problems (and which step you encounter problems on)?

Thanks,

Matt M.
