Does iTunes support 24/192 FLAC files?

I'm downloading some hi-rez music files in 24/192 FLAC format. Is this format supported by iTunes such that I could add them to my iTunes library? If not, any suggestions on playback software?

iOS 6.1.6

iTunes does not support FLAC. There's numerous free applications such as VLC which will play FLAC but aren't as structured as iTunes for music collections. You could convert to the FLAC to ALAC wiithout loss using a converter such as XLD, and iTunes iwll play ALAC of course.
