Macbook Air Possible steam damage please help!

I have a 2014 11 inch Macbook Air which until today has worked perfectly and is great. I left my Macbook in the bathroom while the bath was running for approximately 10 minutes and a further 15 after the taps were turned off, with the door closed, the room became pretty steamy but not excessively so. When i next turned on my Mac, the battery would not charge, no light would come from the charger and where you should normally see a level and percentage figure to indicate battery life, there is a simple 'X' in the middle of the battery. In addition, the fan is going crazy! I have no doubt the steam was what caused this, and the mac had no direct contact with water, what options do i have to fix all of the outlying problems?

Probably should let it set and get dry, maybe overnight. But, when you do start it up do this. First zap the pram, command/option/p/r while holding down the power button for three chimes , release and continue boot. As for the X for battery icon, do this. SMC reset, hold down command/option/shift keys and power button for 10 seconds, release and reboot. If you are going to start it up right away , at least dry out the end of the mag safe adapter and where it plugs into the Macbook Air.
