Apple Remote program totally destroyed

Stopped working as a remote on Apple-TV gen. 2 after updating iPad Air to iOS 8.1.2 and Apple-TV to the latest firmware. No issues in home share. Repair of the damaged software required immediately. First problems have been reported on remote-program feedbacks allready during autumn 2014.
