Add Audio Effect FadeIn/Out not processing

Can't seem to get my Audio fades to write to the output files. When I preview them in the viewer they work fine. However, the output file just has silence for the fade duration and then suddenly regular volume after the fade duration. Seems to happen on fade in and out. I'm hoping it's something simple I'm missing.

Yosemite 10.2.2 and Compressor 4.1.3
