IS Newsstand available in Canada? It is on my home page but nothing happens when I choose it. How does it work. Do I have to check any of my settings before it will work? I have a new iPad Air.

You should be able to access Newsstand publications in the Canadian iTunes Store. Try this step to browse and buy magazines:
To find and buy Newsstand magazines and newspapers, open Newsstand and tap Store. When you buy a Newsstand publication, it's added to your library and billed to your iTunes store account.
You can return to your Newsstand library from a magazine or newspaper by pressing the Home button. To arrange Newsstand magazines and newspapers, tap and hold the publications to arrange them in your library.
If you need help with a specific publication, go to the app's built-in Help or App Store listing.

THanks for your help Jeremy. my problem is that when I open newsstand "store" does not appear.
Are you logged into the iTunes Store in Settings>iTunes & App Store?
I Found out that I needed to disable restrictions In settings and now "store" shows up on my newsstand icon. Thanks for your help.
