Hi..I have a new iphone 6 with 8.1.2 software installed. I'm not able to delete my single / multiple messages as I'm not able to see the trash icon at the bottom left corner. What could possibly be the problem? Thanks!

How do I delete a message?
- To delete a message, tap and hold the message bubble, then tap More.

After you delete a message, you can recover it only by restoring from a backup.
How do I delete an entire conversation?
Open the list of conversations. Then swipe from right to left on the conversation you want to delete.
