Feb 8, 2015 1:29 PM in response to Gweebsby MPG1020,I have had the same problem on my MB Pro (mid 2014) until about an hour ago. I ran a system cleanup on Clean My Mac 2 and then restarted my computer. I don't know why this worked but it did. Im guessing I still had the previous software installed which was interfering with 10.10.2. If you do not have Clean My Mac 2 Im sure there is another way that I don't know of. However I would recommend getting it though as I have cleared over 20 GB of space. Hope This helped anyone facing the same problem!
