    Hi Bippinsridge,

Your mini does not like the fact that the Kernel has been hooked by the BlackBerry stuff. Try to uninstall it according to the instructions on their website and try again.

That seems to have been the final straw that broke the Camels back. Ideally, one would like to have more information, like what happened, what were you trying to achieve, what third party software, have you checked compatibility with the OS, etc

    Have fun

Thanks, this is happening all the time, that's the latest report. Just random crashes, even when idle. The screen goes black for about 5 seconds then reboots the system. I'll start with Blackberry! When u say the final straw, is there anything else that's causing it from that report?

    Bippinsridge,

Thomas_r on this forum also has written a small little program which you can download from his site, called AdwareMedic. Don't download from anywhere else. It will scan your system for possible gremlins. You can visit his site The Safe Mac » Mac Performance Guide for some more information. It might also be prudent to look at How to clean Apple products - Apple Support for some more insight.

In addition, Etresoft, another respected poster has written EtreCheck which you can also use to possibly point you in the right direction.

If it's random, it could be a software compatibility issue.

    Have fun
