How is your iPad now "Canada"?
Without some context, its is difficult to know exactly what you are dealing with. However, start here: Settings App > General > Language & Region.
If you are talking about the iTunes Store follow this procedure:
1. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID.
2. Tap your Apple ID.
3. Tap View Apple ID.
4. Enter your password.
5. Go to Country/Region in the popup window to change to the desired store.

the country is listed as "United States" but when I get on Amazon Prime to stream a video i get an Error Message "Not available in your country". I chatted with Amazon and they sent me an URL Address to go to and that said my country was listed as Canada. So I was told to reset my iPad and put in USA as my country. I did that yesterday and the video streamed without problem. Today I got the same error message saying - not available in your country. how does my country setting change without me doing it. I haven't downloaded or used any new apps.

I Got it fixed. Amazon Instant Video Tech figured out it was my settings in PureVPN. I had my ip addresses from Canada. So I reset them to come from the USA and that solved the problem. Now I can stream Amazon Prime movies again.
