Mar 25, 2015 2:47 PM in response to deannedujonby SergZak,The headphone jack inside the iPad has a switch built into it that engages/disengages when the headphones are plugged in/disconnected. The switch can sometimes get stuck or get a buildup of corrosion on the switch's contacts. Try plugging in/unplugging the headphone plug into the jack multiple times. Also try twisting the plug inside of the jack (while the headphones are plugged in) multiple times as well. This will help to clear out any corrosion or whatever may be causing the switch to get stuck (if it IS getting stuck).
