Q: Unable to downgrade iCloud account

Hi there, I upgraded my iCloud account last month or so to 500GB but quickly realized that I didn't need that level of storage and wanted to return to the 200GB that I previously had. I followed the directions on my iPhone, iPad and my macbook found here. This was all well and good until I got to the selection portion and as you can see in the attached, I am unable to hit "DONE" when the 200GB option is selected.

How can I make this downgrade option happen, as I can't seem to do so on any of my devices? Thank you.

Thanks! That was actually linked in my original post, as I followed those directions but I'm still unable to hit "DONE" when choosing the downgrade option.

I'm trying to downgrade from 200Gb to 50Gb, and the 'done' button is not available unless I choose the '5Gb free' option.  Not helpful when I have 15Gb of data.

I was forced onto the 200Gb plan by Apple when they removed the 20Gb annual subscription that had been perfect for me.  Now that a 50Gb option exists, apparently I'm not permitted to choose it.

If someone is replying to this, please don't paste a link to the same 'how to' article that everybody has already read - just fix the form so that the 'done' button works when attempting to downgrade iCloud storage.

Can you hover over the yellow triangles or double click on them to see what the warning is all about?

The link just takes me to the iCloud page.  Yes, I have heard of iCloud, and yes, I've already read as many help articles, pages, and blogs as possible before coming here.  I've already tried re-installing iCloud on my PC to check whether I can change the storage setting there.

Here are some screen captures - to help convince Apple that I'm not making this up, and that I have actually heard of iCloud and do know how to access the settings:

    iCloud downgrade 1of2 22-02-2016.png

...Notice that the 'done' button is not available.

For comparison, here is another screen capture:

    iCloud downgrade 2of2 22-02-2016.png

Now the 'done' button is available, but only if I choose to go all the way back to the free 5Gb.  As I've already pointed out, this is not helpful when I have 2-3 times that already stored in iCloud.  Hovering over the yellow triangle does nothing - no 'tool tip', message, or anything else.

So now that you have evidence in front of you from Apple's own iCloud control panel, is there even a slim chance that Apple will stop treating paying users like idiots and actually make an attempt to fix this

(Hint: please do NOT try sending me another link to the same help pages that I've already read before coming to this forum!)

Did you try contacting iCloud support using the link I posted?

Yes, but haven't heard back from a human yet. I contacted them 2 days before trying to get help from this forum, and received an automated reply suggesting that community forums would be the best option.  Perhaps they think this forum is providing some help??
