Thanks for participating in the Apple Support Communities.
If you're not able to sign into FaceTime, and iMessages is offline on your Mac, the troubleshooting tips at this link can help to fix it:
FaceTime, Game Center, Messages: Troubleshooting sign in issues - Apple Support
If you're seeing this behavior on your iOS device, try these steps first:
Sign out and back in to iMessage and FaceTime
- Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
- Go to Settings > FaceTime, tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
- On your iPhone first, sign back in to iMessage and Facetime.
- Sign back in to iMessage and Facetime on your other devices.
Reset your network settings
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
You can find these steps at this link:
If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
All the best,
Jeremy

Feb 2, 2015 6:18 AM in response to jeremy_vby DMSinTexas,It is asking for my iCloud password. It won't accept my password. My iMessage and FT works on my iPad and my phone. I can only assume the iCould has something to do with it. It says my iMessage is offline.

Feb 2, 2015 5:16 PM in response to jeremy_vby DMSinTexas,Actually, all I had to do was go to my iMessages account and activate it. For some reason after the updates from the app store, it deactivated my account and for another strange reason it would not accept my iCould password at the screen.
