ICARE WILL NOT HELP

Where can we complain, ICARE have refused to help us repair our I-phone they have told us we have the problems , volume control does not work, calls disconnecting etc, because the battery is swollen/split but as the serial number hardware and software are not the same they will not repair for us. ?

I bought the Iphone5 next door (Banana I.T. ) an Apple dealer, I have receipt. ? I am not trying to get anything free, I am quite prepared to pay, but I do not want to take the phone for a non authorized repair as they have advised us to do.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

I-care are authorized outlets in Thailand that will repair/replace Apple products. Just had a new battery for my mac book replaced there. Banana I.T. next door to the I-Care outlet is in the same group and authorized to sell Apple products. I have the receipt, I do not expect it to be repaired free it is now outside the warranty period.

I am happy to pay, but they won't repair/replace because the serial numbers do not match inferring I suspect that this is not the correct hardware. If that is the case WHY I paid full price from an authorized outlet (from the names on the receipt part of the same group of companies they are in) I smell a rat here. Why have we got hardware that does not have a correct serial number on, personnel there have suggested we get it repaired privately, this was bought as a present for my wife i am not going to have this phone worked on by anyone that is not authorized to.

The only authorized distributors of the iPhone in Thailand are AIS, data, True Move, and their authorized agents. All support for the iPhone in Thailand is provided by the authorized carriers. There are no other authorized servicer of iPhones there.

Not all countries offer the option of out of warranty replacement phones. Take the phone to an authorize carrier. If you can't get a discounted out of warranty replacement there, then you're out of luck. It can not be repaired. Apple does not repair iPhones at all with the exception of screen replacements in some countries.

The parent company of I-care, I-beat (you can guess what apple products they sell) and Banana I.T. it seems is Comseven International Co Ltd, I must assume they are an authorized dealer of "True Move" as there is another receipt given at time of purchase from True Move as they were the chosen carrier.

Is it the case then if an Authorized distributor authorizes an agent then at that point the quality of service or product is of no concern of Apple. You can appreciate that an I-phone 5 32GB is not cheap and it seems this game with the agent of runaround has been going on for about 6 weeks (perhaps the story about the serial numbers not matching means nothing, I do not know) until the agent states they will not do anything, just when the warranty has run out.

Very UN-impressed with Apple Corporations position on this, obviously I will en-devour to make my case in other areas.

icare Hua-Hin is an authorized Apple service center, it is listed on the APPLE site, I have just found out that as the iphone 5 was purchased 21/12/2012 and I have checked the serial number, I am eligible for a free replacement battery. So we are at the original question they state that the system serial number should match the number inscribed inside the phone SHOULD IT ? and as it doesn't they won't accept the phone for repair/replacement whatever.

If the serial number engraved on the back of the device is different from the serial number that displays under Settings > General > About, then something has been tampered in your phone by an unauthorized service technician. That means your device is not eligible for service of any kind from Apple of Apple Authorized Service Providers.

If it came like that from an authorized retailer, take it up with that retailer. If you had anyone service the device, question them. It didn't come from the Apple factory like that.

do not use icare service in Thailand they are Robot cannot help youff and very important Do not! buy any apple product from icare because the product not real (from China) it will bring you problems as many people (they have many difference problems)
