Jan 30, 2015 9:05 AM in response to kfkaiserby Old Toad,You should be able to order again right away. You could be ordering a different second book so CC company shouldn't block it. The hang had nothing to do with the CC company blocking.
Force quit out of iPhoto ( ➙ Force Quit menu option) and go to you Account online and check the order status:
Verify that the first order was cancelled. If it was then reorder the book again. This time preview the book as described in this Apple document, iPhoto, Aperture: Previewing an order in iPhoto or Aperture - Apple Support, before ordering the book. Keep the PDF file to compare with the printed copy when it arrives.
If iPhoto hangs again while ordering the book try booting into Safe Mode, Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode, and order from there.
