iCloud will not complete sign-in

I installed iCloud on Windows 7, and the sign-in process never completes. The application just sits on this window indefinitely.

I added all the processes and paths to my security software (Microsoft Security Essentials) and I have no firewall.

Still, it won't sign in - just sits there with the icon spinning....forever....

So, I just verified that this works on another one of my machine, so nothing wrong with my account. I just rebuilt the machine that is having this problem 2 weeks ago (fresh installation of Windows 7), but this did not work before I rebuilt it either.
