buy movie on apple tv play on macbook iTunes
I bought a movie on apple tv but I don't see it on my iTunes. Will movies I purchase on Apple TV not play through iTunes on my computer?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! You can definitely view movies you purchased on your Apple TV on other devices, including iTunes. You’ll want to sign in with the same Apple ID that the content was purchased with, and then download the movie from your past purchases:

The one exception to this is iTunes Movie Rentals, which are constrained to the device they were purchased on:
If you rented the movie on your iOS device or Apple TV, you can’t move it to any other device.
