If I understand correctly, you downloaded the new iOS version and your phone us turning off by itself randomly. If the issue happens no matter what app you are using, force quit all the running apps with the following article. If it seems to only happen with one app or within a couple of apps just close those:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that reset the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
