Iphone 6 - IOS 8.1.3 - Bluetooth Carkit problem -VW touch adapter

Hi !

I have a iphone 6 with the new IOS 8.1.3 but in my car a vw polo the carkit is not working. (I have the vw touch adapter)

The connection with the phone is well established but i can't pick or hear the caller if i use the iphone.

The only option that is working is outgoing calling true the carkit and not true the phone.

The car kit is working on all other phones samsung s4 / samsung s5

I have tried:

1.Reset all settings on iphone

2.Reset Network on iphone

3.Reset Carkit

4.Remove Carkit / reset carkit

I have:

Iphone 6 with IOS 8.13

VW touch adapter with SW version 0124 / HW 0008

Any help or tips ?

I am an IT support person so I have access to several iPhones with different IOS . It appears that the blue tooth issue started with the upgrade to Version 7.xx . I made the mistake of upgrading a device from 6.xx to 7.xx & the user lost the ability to connect to his blue tooth headset. I currently have a BlueAnt S4

on my desk. I was unable to connect to it using any iPhone 5's and 6's with IOS version 7.xx and 8.xx . ( I had four (4) devices within one (1) foot of the BlueAnt device. I have an OLD iPhone 3 with IOS 4.21 . This is the ONLY phone that "sees" the BlueAnt device. I refuse to upgrade any more phone until this issue has been resolved. Please have your software people look at how the iPhone devices connected to blue tooth before these "upgrades?????"

You might want to check with BlueAnt. I have a BlueAnt Q2 headset that pairs quite easily with my iPhone 5s running iOS 8.1.3. I've been through all version of iOS on this device and my 4s previous. They both have paired quite easily and work as designed with my 2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid with the Nav kit. I would not say it is the Bluetooth.

there is no solution!

there is an contract/agreement between VW & apple

the deal is that Apple includes the Bluetooth functionality ONLY until the iphone 5S with the older software. (7...)

VW should pay another additional license agreement , so that all newer and older hands free kit are functional. Including the touch adapter.

i Have 5 VW t5 and a few more VW caddy. They all have the the touch adapter. No one of them work with the iphone 6 & 6+

i went to the apple shop. They changed my iphone for a complete new one.

The problem is still remaining.

BUT all touch adapter connect very well with the samsung phones. (S5 & S5 mini)

hopefully also with the brand new samsung s6 (Bluetooth 4.1)

Sorry to prove you wrong, but my wife has an Iphone6+ with IOS 8.3, and it works fine with my WV with touch adapter.

But my own IPhone5S at same IOS version, falls out every time the phone rings. I tried every trick in the book (an on the internet) to solve it, but no result so far. It drives me crazy.
