Camera won't focus after 8.1.3 update

I updated my iPhone 6 Plus to iOS 8.1.3 today and now the rear camera is permanently focused very close to the phone. I can't change the focus using auto focus, tapping the screen, or manually changing the focal length in Camera+.

still major issue. Calling to make appointment with store. After last update having additional issues with touchscreen freezing in different apps. Photo view freezing. Hope to get camera focus resolved easily. I miss my good camera features. If I wanted to carry a camera around I wouldn't have upgraded to iPhone. Just kept a little "dump phone". Very frustrated that something as simple as an iOS upgrade can wreck a primary feature if the hardware.

OK... I have went through customer service, after 3 calls with them and multiple attempts to reset the phone they determined it to be a hardware issue with the phone itself. The image stabilization went down. Without making too many assumptions here but I went investigated this pretty thoroughly, the image stabilization on the iPhone 6plus seems to be sensitive to vibrations. With that known you can make your own assumptions but I did mount my phone to my car and motorcycle mounts so it would indeed have been subjected to the sort of vibrations evident in observations I have read about. I am sure Apple will work to fix this in future renditions but I wouldn't look for any public acknowledgement. In all fairness to Apple, they resolved the problem and replaced the phone promptly as it was still under warranty. Hopefully this issue will be resolved in their future renditions of the phone as I am growing fond of the bigger phone.
