Feb 6, 2015 4:23 AM in response to jpewittby Tattedhorror,
FYI, I had to take my iphone 6 in and get the camera replaced. An hour and 1/2 wasted out of my day, at least it was covered under warranty. -

Feb 8, 2015 10:54 AM in response to jpewittby grantnoliver,Same issue. Updated and now my camera will not work at all. Just a black screen when I open up the app. Going to try to downgrade to 8.1.2 but I'm pretty sure I'll have to waste my time at the apple store. Of course that's after I get back from my 3 month vacation in Europe which I now don't have a camera for... thanks apple.

Feb 10, 2015 2:21 PM in response to jpewittby jpewitt,Just to give everybody an update, I received a phone call from Apple engineering yesterday in reference to this issue. They asked me to send them a few sample pictures as well as a few screenshots of the camera app. They may have me send in my phone for further testing. So they are working on it.

Feb 10, 2015 9:06 PM in response to jpewittby DaveInCal,After my 6 plus updated to 8.1.3, the camera has same issues everyone else is reporting, cannot focus on farther images and the video is out of focus. It has rendered the camera useless, and I use it at work. I was tempted to go back to 8.1.2, but as of today 2/10/15, we can't go back. Hope enough people report issue so Apple will issue a fix.

Feb 13, 2015 12:22 AM in response to leesa.leesaby Hoyamale,I have the same issue. I am frustrated by Apple's silence on this matter. Please issue an official statement about this problem so that those of us affected can determine whether to seek a hardware solution or wait for a bug fix. We all spent a lot of money on the iphone 6 plus and we deserve more than your silence on the matter.

Feb 13, 2015 10:59 PM in response to jpewittby ChrilleBoquist, ssame problem for me aswell. Unfortunately did the update just days before 1 week vacation with My kids and wife very hard only using secondary camera. Why give out updates if there are major bug, and why when this is the case, not give out complement to fix this annoying bug?? The biggest reason i bought 6 plus is that i wanted to film with better quality. And now its totally the opposite. If thos were android IT would be fixed in days but now its been 2 weeks and nothing... Btw you cannot backdate, ive tried. Apple has fixed the 8.1.3.

Feb 17, 2015 4:32 AM in response to ChrilleBoquistby dbarefield,I have 3 iPhone 6 Plus phones that my family uses.
After installing iOS 8.1.3 onto my iPhone 6+, I noticed that the back camera no longer focuses. Even if I touch the screen to force focus, it will not focus.
My wife and daughter did not update their phones yet to 8.1.3 and both of their rear cameras are working normally.
Do we know if this is a glitch in the software update or should I take my phone back to Verizon? I have only had my phone about two months and it is in pristine condition and has never been dropped or anything.
I have also noticed that a few people that are having this same issue have reported that they restored back factory settings (prior to 8.1.3), but are still having the issue. That leads me to believe that it may be a hardware issue, but is it possible that it is still a software issue?

Feb 17, 2015 4:51 AM in response to dbarefieldby dbarefield,Well never mind, I just noticed that even when trying to do a factory restore that it still attempts to use 8.1.3... so what is the point of even trying that if it is a software issue?
