Q: I Have an iPhone 4s and it won't come on. What do you suggest?

The product name of my device is Apple inc. My storage was a total of 20GB. The number of my phone system is iOS 8.1.2. The problems I've had with this iPhone is, it blanked out then cut back on. Blanked out again, and it wouldn't come back on. I've tried to reset it using the lock & home button, but it didn't come on.

    Greetings Whatupcat123,

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities.

You may find the additional troubleshooting tips in this article helpful if your iPhone is not turning on:

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond or doesn't turn on - Apple Support

    Start with this step:

You might need to charge your device before it can turn on. Plug in your device and let it charge for at least 10 minutes (20 minutes for iPad), then try turning it on.

You should see a battery icon while your device is charging. If you continue to see a black screen, reset your device.

If your iPhone turns back on, but then blanks out again unexpectedly, try this next:

When starting up, you might see the Apple logo or a red or blue screen for a long time, or your device might restart again. Try these steps:

    1. Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
    2. Put your device in recovery mode.
    3. When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.

    Best Regards,

    Jeremy
