Q: MacBooK Pro
Can someone please advise why my MacBook Pro (early 2011) runs warm. The machine doesn't need to have many applications open to run warm.
The machine doesn't always run warm, when I open and boot up it will vary whether it runs war or not, it seems that running warm caused to slow down the applications open and being worked on.
MacBook Pro (15-inch Early 2011), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

iPhoto should not be running at those percentages on a consistent basis. It's possible that it would be required for short durations, but anything that runs the CPU at those percentages for an extended period of time has a problem. If the restart doesn't clear the issue, download and run EtreCheck and post the results in a reply to see if we can spot any issues.
