iTunes install issue

I had to uninstall iTunes from my computer recently but now I cannot re-install it. I deleted all Apple software from my PC. (I'm running Windows 7) and I downloaded the new version (12.1) and then I select to 'Run as an administrator'. First error that pops up is

"Service Bonjour Service failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services. I tried the ignore button.

Next error:

Service Apple Mobile Device service could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services. I tried the ignore and it couldn't install iTunes at all.

I keep on trying, but nothing. I've tried removing all Apple software and then installing three times now - nothing. Now I have no iTunes.

Can anyone please help.

try this,

uninstalling all Apple software first ...everything

Then go into the (C:\users\username\appdata\local) and deleted the "apple computer" file.

do the same apple computer file delete in (C:\users\username\appdata\roaming).

App Data isn't seen in most cases when you look in the user file.

If you click twice in the address bar, once you get into the user file, you can add the (\appdata\local) to the end and do the same adding the (\appdata\roaming)

If one of the files gives you a "can't be deleted" message, go to start menu and type in (task manager) and hit enter.

When task manager comes up select the "processes" tab at the top, find the (APSDaemon.exe) process. Right click on it and select (end task). The apple computer file will then be able to be deleted.

So after trying uninstalling all Apple software and just reinstalling to no avail, uninstalling all apple software and deleting the apple computer files in the appdata then reinstalling ITunes....finally worked for me.

Thanks,

Brock

iTunes 12.1.1 for Windows (64-bit — for older video cards)

I spent a very long time looking for a solution and followed all instructions completely. I have Windows 8.1 and everything ran well until I updated iTunes to their latest version (which I had been avoiding and will, at all costs, avoid in the future.) The above link is the only thing that has allowed me to get iTunes up and running again.

For me, after checking for updates in Itunes, I first tried the apple software updater install itunes. That didn't work, getting a "bonjour service unable to start, check if you are able to install services" popup error message then one for a ipodservice also when I some how got by the bonjour one.

Then tried the download only option in the apple software updater, that didnt work either, same error popup messages for bonjour and ipodservice.

Googled for the itunes installer from the apple website, got the Itunes6464Setup.exe and that didn't work either, still the same error message bonjour and ipodservice

Gave up and tried running the bonjour service myself, got an "this service is marked as deleted" which led me to this post:

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/20561990/how-to-solve-the-specified-service-h as-been-marked-for-deletion-error

In which I did have process explorer and task manager running during the attempted installs. Closed process explorer and task manager and the install work!!!

Seems to be more of a windows services thing then an itunes thing, just if more applications used a bunch of services, we all might run into this issue alot more.
