Q: Cannot print multiple copies from any application or printer with MacBook Pro

Hello, for some reason I cannot print multiple copies of the same document/.pdf from any application/printer. One copy prints just fine, it is only with multiple copies.

From Preview, I receive an "Error While Printing" message, and attempting a print from the Terminal with lpr -#num-copies fileName I receive the error "lp: Bad copies value". The command prints fine when the value is #1 but I get the error with #2 or more.

Any ideas?

MacBook Pro (15-inch Mid 2009), Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Hey sorokai,

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you are not able to print multiple copies of a document. It looks like you have already done some troubleshooting. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.
