QuickTime player stops playing video in full screen after 5 minutes

I am playing a standard QuickTime video in full screen on my Microsoft computer but after 5 min the screen turns black and the video stops playing. It is a brand new computer and I wouldn't think the screen saver wouldn't come on when in "full screen." A little help please?

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with QuickTime video playback on your Windows machine. If you are having issues with playback in QuickTime, you may want to try playing the video in question in iTunes and see if the same issues occur. You may find the following article helpful:

You may also want to try testing playback in both QuickTime and iTunes with the following known-good sample files:
