apple TV audio is terrible since update

Several, but not all, of the videos I am plying on the apple TV from iTunes have horrible tinny sounding audio.

Any ideas?

ATV is latest version and has updated software. TV, tuner and speakers are all the same.

This turned out to be a problem with my receiver, as best I can tell. Got rid of the receiver and just used the TV speakers. Pretty bad but at least bearable.

Now I am having the problem with the ATV 4 and the bluetooth Sonos speakers.
