If you have a Mac that can run Classic operating systems, it won't work because Netflix has chosen too new a video compression standard. Go to Apple menu -> About This Mac. If it says PowerPC, PPC, G5, G4, or G3 it won't run Netflix. If it says Intel, it will run Netflix, with the right version of Microsoft Silverlight, and won't run Classic Mac operating systems, the forum you posted in.
