Q: iOS 8.1.3 Update on iPad Air - screen now has red tint

WIsh I hadn't updated. My screen before the update matched my iPhone perfectly. Now everything is too red. Photos look horrible and I had been using this iPad as my test for final approval before making photos public on websites.

I tried to use Apple's service and I got an application error when I selected to use the Chat option. Very useless exercise.

I am crossing my fingers that they fix whatever they broke.

I was just about to purchase a iMac but now I'm not so sure that is a good idea.

For screen discoloration please try the steps here.

Get help with the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If you see lines, missing sections, discoloration, or poor image quality

Try to restart your device. If you can't restart, reset your device.
If restarting or resetting doesn’t fix the issue, restore your device.
If you still see the issue after you restore, contact Apple Support.
I know you have tried to contact support already. Maybe another avenue would work if needed.
