I need to know if i have to stay within the numerical sequence while updating my OS X Tiger 10.4.11 to at least Snow Lepard 10.6?? can I just go directly to the Snow Lepard 10.6 system, or do I HAVE TO INSTALL ALL OF MAC OS X 10.5 first??

An iBook G3 can't be upgraded past 10.4.11.
An iBook G4 can't be upgraded past 10.5.8.

OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and newer OS X version will only install and run with newer Macs with Intel processing units.
iBook G3 and G4 models use IBM/Motorola PowerPC processors and are NOT compatible with 10.6 Snow Leopard and higher.
The farthest your iBook maybe able to be updated to, if a G4 iBook, is OS X 10.5.8 Leopard.
Updating my Ibook OS X TIGER 10.4.11 server to at least Snow Lepard OS X 10.6
